Dou Qiao is a genius negotiator who is the star of the US-China Business Council. Male lead Xie Xiaofei also works as a negotiator, but is actually the sole heir of a wealthy Chinese-American corporation who wants nothing to do with the family business. He vents his frustrations on Dou Qiao, though their bickering relationship soon takes a romantic turn. The couple separates after Dou Qiao discovers the Xie Family had a hand in her parents’ deaths, only to meet several years later as negotiators of rival firms.

**Don’t waste your time!** _~ Please forgive any spelling errors. ob, stole her passport and essentially kidnapped her. He is a selfish asshole, who thinks he can do what he wants, just because he "loves" her and had a shit childhood. I don't understand why Tong Wei likes him. He tells her that he wants to protect her from his family, while making her a target by being a piece of shit. Because he isn't only an ass to her. He also tried to pressure his brother to drink alcohol even though Xiao Fei knows that Xiao Tian is allergic to it. He told his uncle's wife to wear a dress that fits her "age range and figure". He constantly says that his family is bad and only thinks about business and money, but he also relies on THAT family's money until he can’t anymore. Qin Tian Yu is a selfish "nice guy", who used his friendship with Tong Wei to get ahead in his job. He believes just because he has known her for a long time she should like him back. And when she is rightfully angry at him for using her, he sulks about it. For a show, that so heavily relies on American culture and the English language, their English dubbing is shockingly bad. I leave this review with the wise words from Xie Xiao Tian's mother: "Love is selfless. Love doesn't need payback.
