Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Simple Ventures (“we”, “us”) about your use of Viiibz. By creating an account or using Viiibz you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Viiibz.

1. Who can use Viiibz

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these terms for you. You are responsible for your account and for keeping access to your email secure, since that is how you sign in.

2. What Viiibz does

Viiibz helps you keep track of movies, see where they are available to stream, rent or buy, and share them with friends. Availability, prices and ratings come from third parties, change often, and may be wrong or out of date. Always check with the streaming service before you pay. Viiibz does not stream video and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the streaming services or studios shown.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of what you create — lists, notes, recommendations and replies. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display and share that content as needed to run Viiibz and according to the visibility settings you choose. You are responsible for what you post and confirm you have the right to post it.

4. Acceptable use

Please don’t:

• harass, threaten, impersonate or spam other people, or invite people who have not asked to hear from you;
• post anything unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else’s rights;
• share other people’s personal information without permission;
• scrape, copy or resell the app or its data, or access it through automated means we have not allowed;
• try to break, overload or get around the security of Viiibz.

We may remove content or suspend or close accounts that break these rules. If you see something that does, email hello@viiibz.com.

5. Links, affiliates and third parties

Viiibz links to streaming services and stores. Some links are affiliate links: Viiibz may earn a commission. This never changes the price you pay, and we do not use affiliate links for services you already have. Third-party services have their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them. Movie data is provided by TMDB and availability by Watchmode; Viiibz uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

6. Our app

We own Viiibz, its design and software. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use it under these terms. We may change, add or remove features, and may stop offering Viiibz, ideally with notice.

7. Ending your account

You can stop using Viiibz at any time and delete your account from your Profile, or by emailing hello@viiibz.com. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we need to for legal reasons. Sections 3, 8, 9 and 10 survive.

8. Disclaimers

Viiibz is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not promise that Viiibz or its information will be accurate, uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Simple Ventures will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of Viiibz. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past 12 months or US$50. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

10. Indemnity

If you break these terms or the law and someone brings a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with that claim, to the extent the law allows.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and update the date above, and tell you in the app or by email about significant changes. Continuing to use Viiibz after changes take effect means you accept them.
