David Mitchell was fantastic in the comedy series "Upstart Crow", a light hearted, often insightful and extremely funny, re imagining of the life of William Shakespeare. lve complex crimes, is an interesting contrast, for example, but its not chuckle worthy on any level. In summary, by all means watch this series spanning an initial six episodes, for its clever puzzle, sleuthing elements but don't expect the kind of comedic elements you might typically associate with Mitchell. That said, so much else is worthwhile I, for one, don't think it really matters, all that much. Most definitely worth a look.
