Screened for Unnamed Footage Festival 2026. This one's for the weirdos, the cryptid fans and amphibian lovers. This is Frogman Returns. . This sets the scene wonderfully for the return of our ultimate amphibious figure. This is no longer a found footage horror but an expansive universe with larger production values, greater practical and SFX and some otherworldly sci-fi elements. The lore is ramped up to such an excess it's almost hard to keep up and feels almost Marvelesque in the approach. The creature design is a standout for me, with Frogman looking the best he's ever been. The knowing wink to its audience remains and it's clear everyone involved is having a blast. I cannot wait to see where this franchise goes next as it's clear the world is their lily pad.
